The short version

  • KeyWin's core features run on your device. We do not operate a server that collects charts or personal data.
  • Names, birth details, charts, people, pets, avatars, notes, and settings stay on your device.
  • No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking, and no sale of data.
  • The app itself only needs the network for Apple StoreKit purchases, restores, and subscription management.
  • V1 does not include AI chat or model downloads.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how KeyWin ("the app," "we," "us," or "our") handles data when you use the app. It applies to KeyWin V1.0 for iPhone and iPad.

Data controller: Jason Hung. Contact details are provided at the end of this page.

The app's core features work offline. We do not operate a developer server that receives your charts, people, pets, notes, or settings. When Apple processes purchases, payments, restores, or subscription management through the App Store and StoreKit, Apple's own privacy policy and terms apply.

2. What we collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on our servers through the app. We do not have a user account system, and we do not use advertising, analytics, crash-reporting, or tracking SDKs.

Specifically:

  • We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, contacts, location, advertising identifiers, or behavioral analytics.
  • We do not collect your charts, birth details, people, pets, avatars, notes, or settings.
  • We do not track your activity across other apps or websites.
  • We do not sell, rent, or share your data for advertising.

The app does not use cookies, pixels, or similar tracking technologies. It uses Apple system frameworks and an open-source Chinese text conversion library that runs locally; these components do not collect data for us.

3. Data stored on your device

To make the app work, the following data is stored locally on your device (for example, in the app container and local preferences):

DataPurposeLocation
Name, birth date, time, place, sexCreate charts and flowsYour device
Charts, palaces, stars, transformations, flow calculationsDisplay charts and interpretationsYour device
People, pets, relationships, consent statusRelationship and pet featuresYour device
Avatars and photos you selectPersonalizationYour device
Language, font, notification, and display settingsRemember preferencesYour device
Widget snapshotShow a local summary on your Home ScreenYour device App Group

This data is not uploaded to our servers. If you back up your device (for example, iCloud Backup or a computer backup), that backup is managed by Apple or your device settings and is outside the app's control.

4. How data is used

Local data is used only to provide app features: creating charts, showing today's weather, generating the life map, displaying relationship and pet content, remembering your settings, and showing notifications or widgets when you request them.

We do not use this data for advertising, cross-context behavioral advertising, personalized tracking, automated decision-making, or marketing profiles.

5. Sharing and sale

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share your app data with third parties. We do not share data for cross-context behavioral advertising.

The only third-party data flow is Apple's App Store and StoreKit: Apple processes purchases, payments, restores, and subscription management. We do not receive your credit or payment card details. Apple may provide transaction or entitlement information to the app so it can unlock Pro features; that flow is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

6. Apple purchases and subscriptions

KeyWin Pro is offered through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple handles purchases, payments, renewals, cancellations, refunds, and subscription management. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in your App Store account settings.

The app caches subscription entitlement status locally so Pro features can be shown offline. This cache does not contain your payment card details. Actual transactions and billing information are handled by Apple under its privacy policy.

7. Photos and avatars

When you choose a photo for your avatar, the app uses the system photo picker to access only the image you select, then crops, compresses, and stores it on your device. We do not access your full photo library or upload the photo to our servers.

You can reset your avatar or delete data at any time in the app. iOS photo permissions are managed by the system, and you can adjust them in Settings.

8. Notifications and widgets

The app uses local iOS notifications. It does not use a remote push server. Notification timing and content are scheduled on your device; you can turn notifications off at any time in the app or in system settings.

The widget reads a local snapshot stored in the App Group to display a summary. That snapshot is not sent to our servers.

9. Third parties and minors

If you create a chart or profile for another person, you must have that person's consent. For minors (as defined by local law), you must obtain consent from a parent or guardian.

You can delete people, pets, and related data at any time. Do not enter another person's data without permission.

10. Retention and deletion

Local data remains on your device until you clear it in the app's settings, delete individual items, or remove the app. Removing the app usually deletes data in its app container; actual behavior depends on iOS and your device backup settings.

We have no server-side copy to delete. If you use iCloud or computer backups, manage them through Apple's backup tools. Subscription and transaction records are retained by Apple; manage them through Apple.

11. Security

Local data is protected by the iOS app sandbox and your device passcode or biometrics. Keep your device and backups secure, and avoid leaving sensitive data on shared devices.

No storage or transmission method is completely secure. If you suspect unauthorized access to your device or backups, change your device passcode and review your Apple account security settings immediately.

12. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing, to data portability, to withdraw consent, and to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. Because app data is primarily stored on your device, you can view, correct, or delete it directly in the app.

If you have questions about this policy or our data practices, contact us using the details below. We will respond within a reasonable period.

California residents: we do not sell or share your personal information, and we do not use it for cross-context behavioral advertising. You may still contact us using the details below.

13. Children's privacy

The app is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you are under 13, do not use the app without permission from a parent or guardian. If local law sets a higher age for digital consent, obtain guardian consent as required by that law.

If you believe a child provided data without consent, contact us. Because data is stored on the device, you can also delete it directly in the app.

14. International users

The app processes charts and personal data on your device and does not transmit them to other countries through us. Apple's App Store and StoreKit may process purchase and subscription data through Apple's global infrastructure; that processing is governed by Apple's privacy policy.

15. Changes

We may update this policy to reflect changes in features, law, or operations. When we update it, we will revise the effective date and version on this page. For material changes, we will provide notice in the app or on our website. Continued use of the app means you accept the updated policy.
